"Works across our devices"
My kids use Epic on the iPad and sometimes on my phone, and everything stays synced well. We haven’t lost our spot yet, which is nice because with kids switching devices all the time, I mean... it just makes things easier.

"I like Epic because the books, they actually..."
I like Epic because the books, they actually seem right for my son’s age and where he is with reading. I don’t have to worry too much about him clicking on something that feels way too old for him. He finds stories by himself that are fun, and reading more he is now, which has been really nice to see

"Kids liked it, but not all the time"
The kids were kinda mixed on it. Some of the students really got into it for a while, but others got bored fast. It seems like a good activity for certain group, just not something that keeps everyone interested every time.

"Honestly, so many books to choose from"
I was kind of surprised by how many books there were to pick from, like I kept seeing more and more options and thinking, okay, this is actually a great selection. If you like having plenty of choices, it’s really nice

"Feels like a good pick for getting my kid reading"
I had a good feeling about this one quickly. There’s a lot for my kid to learn from, they seem to really enjoy using it. I can just tell it’s helping them get more interested in reading, which is exactly what I was hoping for.

"Fair price, though I’m a little more cautious now"
The subscription price still feels fair to me, especially with how many books are available. My kid uses it a lot, so most months it doesn’t feel like wasted money at all.
I do like that it’s a simple monthly cost and I haven’t had any weird surprise charges so far, but I’ll admit I’m watching it a little closer than I used to. Once you start wondering if things might change later, that trust isn’t quite as solid. Overall though, for the amount of reading time we get, I’d still give it 5 stars.

"Actually easy to cancel, no weird charges"
I signed up for Epic for my kid and ended up needing to cancel later. Billing was clear, and canceling was actually easy. I didn’t get hit with any hidden charges afterward, and the confirmation email came right away too. it’s just nice when a site doesn’t make canceling a whole hassle.

"Nice for bedtime and car rides"
My kids use the read-to-me books all the time at bedtime, they make it easy to wind down without a whole debate. The audiobooks are also great in the car. Some of the voices are definitely better than others, but overall it’s been a nice way to get them reading more without me having to push so much.

"Works, but it feels a bit clunky"
The app does what it’s supposed to do, but using it feels kind of awkward. The overall feel is a little clunky, so it’s not the most enjoyable experience even though it technically works.
